Updates of the SWOT Complete Mask collections

Dear users,

Please be aware that the products distributed under the following collections have been updated with the latest version:

  • SWOT Complete Cal/Val Tile Mask
  • SWOT Complete Nominal Tile Mask
  • SWOT Complete Cal/Val Scene Mask
  • SWOT Complete Nominal Scene Mask

If you were already working with these collections, you should update your products by downloading the latest version.

If you are working by script, we also exceptionally updated the collection IDs (necessary to download with the py_hydroweb API) to uniform all names.

Diffusion of two new collections based on SWOT products

During this summer period, the hydroweb.next catalogue continues to expand. The hydroweb.next team announces the release of two new collections, each accompanying a scientific publication that is currently being prepared or revised:

Both collections are based on SWOT products. The first provides a mean elevation of lake surfaces for a selection of roughly 1,300 large lakes and can be seen as a proxy for the geoid elevation beneath these lakes. The second provides an actual reconstruction of the so‑called “dry” bathymetry of river beds—that is, the elevation range between the lowest and highest surface measurements—and can be used for 1D river modeling.

New tools to manipulate displayable layers from the Map view

A new functionality has just been deployed on our platform: the "Layers" drawer, accessible from the Map View. It allows you to directly manipulate and re-organize the several layers in your workspace. This panel complements the "Workspace" panel.
